Lach Training & Consulting offers training programs and consulting services to nonprofit organizations interested in measuring their programs' outcomes based on the approach developed
by the United Way.
We assist clients with the development of their logic models, the clarification of short term, intermediate and long term outcomes, and the identification of indicators and methods for data collection. We also work with groups to define and articulate their theory of change.
"Claudia moved a diverse group of nonprofit
youth sports programs from
being very diffuse and leery of tackling outcomes measurement
to a
cohesive group focused on developing their logic models. No
easy feat!"

“I thought the training really brought clarity
to the girls program that otherwise would not have been there.
That was very clear. Without the Logic Model Training the program would
have continued to be just something on paper but not effective.
It revealed all kinds of problems that were corrected.”

“I really enjoyed the generation of tools to measure our outcomes.
The process of the development and implementation of the tools themselves,
instigated greater reflection on our programming and daily operations.
I feel like in many ways the act of measuring and tracking what goes
on in practice and our girls’ feelings about their participation
in the program forces us to really look at what we are doing
on a day-to-day basis.”

"One of our staff members commented that she
had been to a number of training programs and she thought that the
Outcome Measurement Workshop conducted by Claudia Lach was the best
she had ever attended. Claudia was able to design a program that fit
our needs and schedule."
